Anand Gupta
Anand is an associate attorney at Robinson + Cole, LLP in the Construction practice group. In his current role, Anand drafts and negotiates construction, design, consulting, and other agreements for industrial, healthcare, residential, hospitality, and retail projects, and advises clients on contract strategy, negotiation, execution, and performance issues. Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Anand worked at Pratt & Whitney, a division of RTX, where he gained a depth of commercial experience having worked for many years in legal, procurement, engineering programs, accounts, and sales.
Anand attended the University of Connecticut for his undergraduate studies as well as for law school. Anand attended the University of Connecticut School of Law’s Evening Division while working for Pratt & Whitney during the day, where he also interned for Pratt & Whitney’s Office of the General Counsel. His undergraduate degree is a dual-degree in Management and Engineering for Manufacturing jointly offered by the Schools of Engineering and Business. During his undergraduate education, Anand interned in an engineering capacity for a number of notable firms in the manufacturing and construction sectors.
In addition to his private practice with Robinson+Cole, Anand is an active member of the community. He regularly conducts pro-bono service with Lawyers for Children America, among other entities, and is a board member of the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut.
