Asker A. Saeed
Asker A. Saeed is one of the founding members of SABAC. He served as SABAC’s president from 2004 through 2007. In 2008, he was recognized with SABAC’s Trailblazer Award (formerly Member of the Year) for his vision and leadership in the founding and early years of the organization.
Mr. Saeed is a nationally recognized diversity & inclusion thought leader, advocate, and strategist. He currently serves as Executive Director of the South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA North America) and as President of Saeed Consulting, a full service diversity and inclusion consulting firm. Before joining SABA North America, he was the Director of Diversity & Inclusion at AMLAW 100 international law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where he was responsible for leading the firm’s global diversity and inclusion initiative. Prior to joining Fried Frank, Mr. Saeed was the head of Diversity & Inclusion at Day Pitney LLP and prior to that practiced law for 10 years at two large law firms and at United Technologies Corporation. He has also held senior business roles at International Aero Engines and Robert Half Legal. He is a long time speaker on diversity, inclusion, and career and professional development and is a member of the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut’s Advisory Committee and, until recently, SABA North America’s National Advisory Council. Mr. Saeed is a graduate of the University at Buffalo Law School and Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada.
